  • Congrats to Marilee Hoffman as we go into our final week of this school year!  Marilee served BASD for 31 years!  Marilee... it will be very hard to see you go... you have been a beacon amongst the Karcher staff!   We all know it is not really goodbye but know we sure will miss you next school year but we know you will come back to visit us too!
  • Congrats to Kelly Fulton, Dustan Eckmann, and Eric Sulik as we finish off your first year with us (or back with us)!  Crazy how fast the year has gone and we are so very glad you are all part of our team.
  • And Farewell to Jayme Pruszka as she is not really leaving us because she is going to the high school next year but she is going to be leaving our team... we wish you the best at the high school next year!
  • Congrats to Eric Sulik as he will be our new STEM-Technology teacher starting in the 2017-2018 school year.  Our hope is to finalize our now open ELA position before the end of this week!
  • Kudos to Dustan Eckmann and our band students as they had their final performance this past week.  Love the added little touches!  Nice job!
  • Kudos to Jack Schmidt, Patti Tenhagen, and Marilee Hoffman for our advisory work for our Cooper/Waller visit this past Friday afternoon.  Our students and the elementary students were having a GREAT time together.  The activities you put together were perfect for the afternoon - nice job!  And awesome job to the rest of our staff as you navigated from activity to activity and did a great job engaging all of the students!
  • Thank you to Donna Sturdevant and Mike Jones for a great last FNL!  We had 141 students attend and the raffle, dunk tank, photo booth, and dodgeball tournament were all a hit!  Thank you to all staff members who came to assist:  Molly Ebbers, Wendy Zeman, Eric Sulik, Brad Ferstenou, Grace Jorgenson, Jenny Geyso, Marilee Hoffman, Scott Hoffman, Stephanie Rummler, Kurt Rummler, Jack Schmidt (Wells and Whitney), Kaylyn Waki (and Casen), Erika Fons, Bobby Smith, and Kris Thomsen.  I hope I did not miss anyone!  Thank you all and a big shout out to Eric Sulik, Brad Ferstenou, Mike Jones, and Matt Behringer for your willingness to get dunked over and over again :)  And... to Crysta Hernandez for your assistance with returning the dunk tank on Saturday.
