Student's of the week for 
March 6 - March 10 

  • Hunter Brown: (Karcher Character Bucks)  
    • Hunter is respectful towards peers and staff in the classroom.
  • Izac Nienhaus: (Applied Academics) 
    • Izac always puts forth his personal best effort. He is kind, respectful, hardworking, very helpful and regularly volunteers. Thanks for being such an outstanding student and for following the Karcher Way!
  • Katelynn Deephouse: (Hive) 
    • Katelynn is beyond reproach when it comes to her positive attitude towards her classmates, her work, and her teachers. Her kindness, responsibility and compassion make her a stellar member of the Hive.
  • Chloe Veensta: (Silver) 
    • Chloe is kind hearted, conscientious, and adds her quiet sense of humor to everything she does!
  • Hasting Koldeway: (Diamond) 
    • Hasting is a very hard worker. She is always responsible in completing her work. Above all  Hasting treats her peers with kindness and respect.
  • Breanna Tollstam: (Onyx)  
    • Breanna is a fantastic young lady who consistently displays and lives the traits of the Karcher Way. Her positive attitude and kindness are appreciated by both teachers and students. Keep up the great work Breanna!

  • Kelly Fulton was chosen as the KCB STAFF OF THE WEEK!  Congrats Kelly and thank you all for continuing to reinforce our 8 character traits. 
  • Congrats to Dustan Eckmann and all of our 5th - 12th grade students who participate in band.  This past week was Band-O-Rama at the high school and it was very well done and sounded amazing!  For Dustan's first Band-O-Rama ever it was a good one!  
  • Congrats to all of our Karcher and BHS students who are in the musical Mary Poppins.  We went today and the show was awesome!  If you have not seen it you need to go!  The girls were really impressed that people were actually flying!  Kudos to Rod Stoughton for assisting with the production :)

Reminders

  • Monday, March 13 - Extended Advisory week!!!  
  • Monday, March 13 - Student Led Conferences from 4:00 - 8:00
    • Student Led conferences will take place in the library.
    • Parent/Teacher conferences will take place in all teacher's classrooms.
    • Referendum meetings (4:00, 5:00, and 6:00) will take place in the auditorium. 
    • Book Fair items will be in the library. 
  • Tuesday, March 14 - Half day with afternoon inservice 
    • Teachers/Certified Staff:  Technology sessions @ BHS from 1:00 - 3:00
      • Below are the links for the session sign ups!
        • Click on this link to decide WHICH sessions there are for you to pick from... Proceed to this link to register for one of the sessions.
    • Special Education Aides:  Technology and school safety @ Cooper Elementary from 1:30 - 3:30. 
      • 1:30 - 2:30 will be technology 
      • 2:30 - 3:30 will be with Peter Smet in regard to the referendum.
  • Tuesday, March 14 - Sing-a-bration in the gym at BHS @ 7:00pm.  Sing-a-bration includes grades 5-12!!!  
  • Wednesday, March 15 - Math 180 Field trip to BHS reality fair.  
  • Wednesday, March 15 - Literacy PLC - time to discuss how your strategy lesson went with the tool or activity you picked and time to create a powerpoint or Google Document to present to staff at the next literacy PLC. 
  • Thursday, March 16 - Community Karcher Open House referendum informational meeting @ 7:00pm in the Karcher library with tours to follow.  Any and all community members are welcome to attend.  
  • Monday, March 20 - Afternoon Assembly Schedule 
  • Monday, March 20 - Staff Meeting 
  • Monday, March 20 - Term 3 grading window will open!
  • Monday, March 20 - NJHS ceremony in our Karcher auditorium @ 6:30pm.
  • Tuesday, March 21 - Student Led Conferences 4-8
  • Wednesday, March 22 - Community Karcher Open House referendum informational meeting @ 7:00pm in the Karcher library with tours to follow.  Any and all community members are welcome to attend.  
  • Thursday, March 23 & Friday, March 24 - Morning Assembly Schedule for the advisory music videos!!!

    The BHS Musical... Mary Poppins!


    Here was the nice shout out to our Karcher students who participated in the Mary Poppins musical!  Word on the street is Stephanie Rummler put this together :)
