- Kudos to Patti Tenhagen, Jack Schmidt, and Marilee Hoffman for all of our hard work putting together our upcoming Waller/Cooper Kindness day! Your behind the scenes work is appreciated as it will be a great day for all students involved!
- The choir concert this past Thursday was a great performance. Congrats to Rod Stoughton and all of our students for their performance! Bringing up alumni each year is a nice added touch at the end.
- Thank you to Kim Moss and Jane Peterson for their consistent behind the scenes when we have a staff luncheon. They assist each time with set up and take down... thank you both!!! Thank you to Kris Thomsen as well for a quick run to the store for plates!

- Tuesday, December 20 - 2, 4, 6, Advisory schedule.
- During advisory, starting at 12:40 students will make their way to Waller or Cooper for the afternoon Kindness Project.
- Those able to assist for lunch duty during 6th hour your help is appreciated!
- Wednesday, December 21 - Special Education Aides luncheon from 10:45 - 11:35 in the conference room.

- House Activities in the morning
- Afternoon Assembly in the afternoon - student vs staff basketball game along with KCB rewards!

- Don't forget to complete the email regarding the facility study and staff perception survey. The information was emailed to you called: Burlington 2016 Community Survey, emailed on November 30, 2016.
- Results of the staff and community survey will be shared at the January 4 Board Meeting.
- December 22 - January 2 is Christmas Break!!!
- January 3 - School resumes with an Afternoon Assembly Schedule
- Afternoon time for 8th grade Outdoor Education preparation.
- 7th grade will participate in advisory activities. They activities will be posted and shared with you on Wednesday this week.
- January 4 - January 6 - 8th grade Outdoor Education
- January 10 - Winter MAP Testing begins!

Monday nights Board Meeting included the recognition of our BHS state runner ups volleyball players & their coaches. Two of them are our staff's daughters (Reba Thomsen & Maddie Berezowitz) Congrats girls!
Karcher wrestling this past week. They are having a GREAT season!
Kick me vocabulary strategy happening in Ms. Berezowitz and Ms. Hancock's 7th grade science classes!
8th grade social studies classes experienced a living history moment when Civil War Speaker Jim Eggers came to give a presentation on the life of a soldier in the Civil War. They examined artifacts, heard music from the time, and a few attempted to dance in a Virginia Reel.
Student council holiday get together this past Friday. Cute idea for the gift exchange!
